KAIROS – a new player in the North American health care market – showcases at the ISBER 2017 in Toronto

For the third time, KAIROS will be present at the “International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER)” with an exhibitor’s booth.  Some of the “home-field advantage” from 2016, when the international event was hosted in Berlin, will be felt again in 2017. The “Hospital for Sick Children”, the first North American customer of KAIROS, which selected CentraXX by KAIROS in 2015, is located in Toronto.

Since its first ISBER appearance in Orlando in 2014, KAIROS has subsequently further developed its IT-solution from its core modules for biobanking and study management, into a holistic research portal. Visitors to the booth will be able to view personal, live demos of the most current release of the system, and will also have the chance to directly discuss the requirements as well as experiences regarding CentraXX with personnel from SickKids.

In its home market in Germany, 28 of 36 German University Hospitals have accesses to CentraXX – either through direct procurement or through access provision of consortium partners. Besides the largest epidemiological study in Germany (the Nationale Kohorte), three of six German federal Centers for Health Research (DZG) have chosen CentraXX.

The ISBER will take place from May 9th – 12th 2017 in the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel in Toronto. KAIROS’ booth is #207.
